My name is GP my wife is Mrs. AP and we live in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. After a very first pregnancy8 years back & a miscarriage of 7 months of Pregnancy 2 years back, it seemed impossible for my wife to have another baby even without any pre-existing medical condition.So,in early Aug,2012,we decided to seek help for her secondary infertility & began researching fertility clinics in Mumbai & elsewhere.We contacted several facilities in different areas of India. They all offered complete fertility services as well as surrogacy. We were initially drawn to Dr.Sanjeev Khot at Mulund. I did not feel like I was being conned or held over a barrel. They made me feel like a guest in their home. Throughout my entire visit I had easy access to the doctors and staff, including Dr. Sanjeev Khot himself, who is enormously busy but always found time to see me if I needed to speak with him.
We were truly surprised on hearing the news that our first attempt is successful & it resulted in a successful twin pregnancy. Everyone in the hospital is genuinely excited for us. My wife is now 4 month pregnant & under consultation of Dr. Sanjeev Khot.

Mrs. AS and Mr. SG married since 5 years from Dahisar Mumbai visited us for their problem of primary infertility. Mrs. AS had the problem of PCOD and had taken treatment in the form of laparoscopy and multiple ovulation inductions in other centres but had not conceived. We offered them initial treatment in the form of IUIs. She conceived in the second cycle but unfortunately the pregnancy ended with miscarriage in the 3rd month. After some years of marriage, when my husband and I wanted to start a family, we discovered that I could not conceive easily, or naturally. There began our long journey to having a baby. We started with getting diagnosed - and were quite sad to hear that I had PCOD (poly cystic ovarian disease), which was a lifestyle-related condition in my case as I was overweight (lack of exercise leading to severe hormonal imbalance). Ultimately, even after undergoing a laparoscopic surgery (ovarian drilling), I was not able to conceive and my first gynaecologist gave up on me and asked me to consult someone more experienced in the matter.
It was then that I consulted Dr. Neelam, my current gynaecologist and was referred to Dr. Sanjeev Khot for infertility treatment. My years-long wait and suffering multiple treatments for a baby had led me to this angel of God - a soft-spoken man with empathy and an unshakeable belief in his work, which brings happiness to so many lives.
When we first met Dr. Khot, my mother and I were not sure about what we were getting into, because he was very soft-spoken, mild-mannered and we were not getting the impression that he was passionate about his work. However, eventually we understood that his quietness only underlined his conviction in his methods and advice. What others may achieve through loudness, he encouraged with his quiet words and soothing manner.
God works in mysterious ways and Dr. Khot is an integral part of this mystery, for me! Many well-wishers now knew about my condition and I was drowning in advice, both about other methods as well as other doctors. Even my in-laws and other relatives were insisting that I go all the way to Kerala for a prolonged period of treatment! However, I had made the decision to stick with Dr. Khot and follow his advice to the letter - I put my faith in God and Dr. Khot! Eventually, I was able to conceive with the help of IUI (intra uterine insemination), which is a less invasive and painless procedure for conception. My family and I were so happy that I finally conceived! But I was not able to carry the baby to term due to complications and we had to medically terminate this precious pregnancy.
Dr. Khot became my tower of strength in this period - he believed completely that I could conceive again. His soft-spoken words and his belief were my lifeline in that period of darkness, when we had lost hope and were disheartened, thinking about abandoning our quest for a child of our own.
Finally, I started to think positively again because of Dr. Khot’s absolute belief and encouragement. Ultimately, Dr. Khot advised me to undergo the IVF (in-vitro fertilisation) procedure for improved chances of conception.
My husband and I decided to go ahead with only one IVF cycle (which was quite expensive at other places, but at Dr. Khot’s was affordable for us) because that is all that we had left with us after years of treatments. We did not want to give up before we tried this last avenue. And so, I was scheduled for an IVF procedure in early 2011. The month of March saw me undergo the whole IVF procedure and within a week I was officially pregnant! And now, it was a wait to see if the procedure worked. Well, the good news was — I had twins, a boy and a girl, in October 2011!
When everything else failed and we had lost hope, God sent Dr. Khot into our lives with a ray of hope. And that is why I believe that he is a messenger from heaven, bringing hope and joy to many lives lost in the darkness of infertility.

Mrs. JH and Mr. RH from Mulund India married since 7 years visited us in April 2004 with history of secondary infertility with Bad Obstetric history(previous miscarriages)They gave history of undergoing 2 hysterolaparoscopies in 2001 and 2004 and total 9 IUIs elsewhere. We want to share our experience with everyone- we are married for last 13 yrs now, last year in september 2012, we were blessed with a baby boy. The feeling of becoming a parent after such a long time is awesome, this thing would not have been possible without dr. khot. Four years ago, my wife had conceived after taking an ivf treatment from another ivf specialist in Mumbai and it was our first attempt, thank god she conceived with twin children. However after 5 mnths of pregnancy, due to some complications, we had to deliver the babies prematurely, we were unfortunate that both the babies could not survive. We were broken, but we did not loose hope,maybe it was in our destiny, the we took a break for almost 3 years before we planned for another cycle. In november 2011, we approached Dr. Khot in shivani hospital, we told him that we don't want to plan a child. We explained to him our history, after understanding everything very well from us, he recommended some tests and after diagnosing, we found out that my wife had high blood pressure, and it was constantly high. I was diabetic too. Dr. Khot explained us that going for an ivf treatement the bp should be normal, and also my diabetes should be in control,because it effects the sperm count. Dr. Khot gave us some medicines, within 2 mnths we became fit for the procedure. In January 2012 we went for the ivf procedure with the help of Dr. Khot and his team. Everything went very smoothly, now we had to wait for the result and to our luck it was positive, my wife had conceived. We were so happy, but we could not express. Dr. Khot gave us lot of confidence, we kept visiting him at least once or twice a month and everytime we visited him we had lot of things in our mind , lot of questions. Dr. Khot always cleared all our doubts and increased our confidence after 5 mnths of conception, we started worrying more, because we had a history of pre-mature delivery but Dr. Khot and his team never made us think about what hapenned last time. Time started passing by though slow but it was moving, we finished 6 mnths, then 7 mnths, now after 7 mnths Dr. Khot explained us that we are on the safer side now.
He was continuosly monitoring the development, till then 8th month of pregnancyon 25th september, we were blessed with a baby boy. He is absolutely fit and fine and u can imagine the joy and fun in our life and our family. I dont have words to express about Dr. Khot, as while I am writing this mail in tears because of the joy we have in our life. Mrs. NA and Mr. NA aged 37 and 38 yrs married for 2 yrs trying for baby since then presented with primary infertility. Mrs. NA had history of childhood TB which was treated. She had also undergone fibroid removal surgery,4 cycles of IUI and 1 failed cycle of ICSI elsewhere. In the initial evaluation with us on transvaginal sonography her endometrial thickness appeared less and ovaries smaller (age related). We did hysteroscopic lateral metroplasty (to increase the thickness of endometium). After this later she was taken up for IVF/ICSI. She was started with high dose of injection in view of her age and small ovaries.We could retrieve 3 eggs. Post ICSI all 3 got fertilized and 3 embryos transferred. My success story :- Apart from my age factor, one fallopian tube was block & also AMH value was low. I underwent laparoscopy surgery to remove the uterus fibroids. My four IUI’s & one IVF attempts got failed at the other clinic. I was very nervous after these failures. Then I visited Dr. Sanjeev Khot with my husband . Dr. Khot happens to be a very good doctor with a high success rate. Dr. Khot has shown very positive approach & response. Hmm, anyways we are an Indian couple staying in Dubai for the past 15 yrs both of us are architects. We have been married for 16 yrs now. I would like to share my experience with the couples who are struggling to have kids. It was third year of our marriage we decided to have a family. After a year of try we released we had problems. Then on madness we started going to the best gynaec in the town doing all the sorts of tests going from one gynaec to other it was really painfull and I really dont have words. I must have done some 8 iui's and 4ivf. Even one of the gynaec in Banglore from advanced infertility clinic known to be quite popular told us we cannot have issues as I have unexplained infertility as the reason is not known it is impossible to treat me. By then it was almost 10 yrs we have also lost all the hopes and accepted the fact we are going to be childless for ever.
One day we met our family friends from Mumbai who had come to see us with their lovely twins. I got married to my wife 11 yrs back, from 2nd year onward we tried to go for babies, naturally we did not succeed, so we went to a specialist here in Spain. We did all the tests and treatment possible but did not succeed, so we went for ivf here in spain. We tried it 2 times but result was the same, my wife was practically in depression. All this took us 3 to 4 yrs, then we left every thing as we where tired of treatments and analysis,then suddenly a miracle happened. Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently
Mrs. CS and Mr. SS from Tamilnadu settled in Mumbai,married for 10 years came to us with primary infertility.She had significant past medical and surgical and infertility treatment elsewhere but unfortunately had not conceived (History of abdominal surgery for TB,taken TB treatment twice in the past,having undergone laparoscopic fibroid removal,3 IUIs and 2 failed IVFs elsewhere). After detailed evalution of the couple with us they were adviced for IVF/ICSI. Mrs. CS responded well and got enough number embryros for transfer and extra numbers were cryopreserved by new technique of vitrification. In our struggle to become parents for the last 10 years,we had been through hell and back. We had been to many experts and spent lakhs of rupees, but no success. Six years prior to my wedding,I suffered from TB which severely harmed my tubes. Chances of becoming a mother was quite remote. Later 8 years after my marriage, I was suffering from fibroids,which was operated by laproscopy. Every doctor we went gave us little chance of becoming parents but asked us to try. It was later in 2011,we met Dr. Khot. A very simple person but highly positive. He did an extensive case study of my medical history and assured me that we too would enjoy parenthood very soon. Later in March 2012, I underwent another cycle in which I conceived. Throughout the 9 months,I was under his care. Today Iam a mother of twin boys. After detailed evaluation we took the couple for an ICSI cycle with TESA(Extraction of sperms from the testis directly). Our daughter came into our life because of infertility treatment. Fortunately for us we had it easy. I conceived at my first attempt with IVF and mind you, when I say first, I mean first. We didn't have failed IUI cycles. We just didn't conceive naturally, and we were lucky to be diagnosed appropriately and more importantly, to be treated to perfection. But as scientific as this process is, there’s also an art to this science—and being in the right hands has everything to do with your chances of success. So does understanding your diagnosis, the options you have to treat it, and what they mean. We are a couple from Thane,Mumbai. We started trying to conceive soon after we were married. No, we weren't charting and taking things seriously - just that we were ready to have a baby and didn't bother with contraception. One and a half years into our marriage and we still didn't see our big fat positive. It's then that we realized that we needed intervention, and we approached an OB-GYN who did a routine examination and prescribed routine tests and initiated drugs for ovulation! The initial test results gave us our diagnosis of azoospermia.Subsequent semen reports showed sperms but very few. It hit us hard. No one imagines such things. We thought we would skip right along to a positive pregnancy test right after our wedding. We were so naively optimistic about it. After the initial shock we started researching the condition and figuring out what were the possible treatment options we had. After all every problem has a solution. We realized the natural way wasn't meant for us, but that didn't mean we couldn't have a family. There was definitely a way out, we just needed to figure it out, and we needed the right people to help us through. We kept this to ourselves and didn't involve our extended families and friends for the sole purpose of avoiding stress via their "advice." We let this sink in for close to a year before my husband saw a urologist who examined him and got another battery of tests done and referred us to Dr. Sanjeev Khot. Our first visit with Dr. Khot was at Regenesis - Worli. I had voraciously read about our condition and knew what would work for us. I had loads of questions for Dr. Khot, but what we were looking for that day was the comfort level we could achieve with this physician who would help us have our little bundle of joy. I started my treatment rightaway. Dr. Khot made it a point to explain everything to the T. He'd talk to us about how things were and what he anticipated. I didn't respond that great to the protocol and at egg retrieval, had only 4 eggs out of which only 3 were mature which were ICSI'd. Dr. Khot wasn't very happy with the outcome and he voiced his concern to us. This worked well for us. We appreciated the fact that he wasn't keeping anything from us. From all that I'd read about the success rates in ICSI we knew that along with the quality of eggs and sperms the physician's expertise matters as well. We knew Dr. Khot was good at his job so half our job was done. The remainder depended on God's will and us. I spent the next 3 days recuperating from the egg retrieval and hoping and praying our little ones were thriving. On the day of the embryo transfer Dr. Khot told us that 2 were thriving and I left that day with 2 little embryos. I had to wait for 14 days to get myself tested. Unfortunately for me the center I went to, to get myself tested said they'd return the results only after 3 days, and boy, that was the best day in my life. Yes, the test results, as confirmed by Dr. Khot, was a big fat positive and we were finally pregnant with our little bundle of joy. We love her to bits and fall all over in love with her with every passing day. She's a miracle!
LIFE!! No matter what you Plan, you never know what Life has Planned for you. Often when we lose Hope and think this is the End…The Lord smiles from above and says, “Relax Sweetheart; It’s just a Bend, not the End!!"
IN COUPLES OWN WORDS...We married each other after falling in love consciously at the age where couples start planning for a second or third child. For us initially things were easier as we kept trying to conceive naturally. But then we realised something is not working out the way we planned. A random visit to a gynec put us in a spot at one of the city's renowned hospital where we were clinically advised to go for hysteroscopy surgery in speculation of not being able to conceive naturally. The thought bowled us out that why it had to be to us and was there really a need for it??

IN COUPLES OWN WORDS...We were married in 2010 planning to start family faced the following problems:
• In 2011 resulted in Tube Pregnancy.
• Since the above incident continuously hoping to deliver but it does not materialize.
• Without knowing the actual problem one of the doctor advised Circumcision which also was carried out for me.
• Even after that did not succeed.
• Finally on finding out the actual problem (Low Count and Low Motility) one of the Doctor advised that only option is to carry out IUF Method and that to the percentage of conceiving is very low due to very low Count and Motility.
• We opted to do IUF and started undergoing for treatment. Travelling was a big issue since the Doctor Clinic was located at Shivaji Park, however and we opted for the same.
• But even after treatment and lot of Medicines and Injections the first IUF did not succeed.
• Later we opted for Baba Ramdev Treatment on the advice of some friends but that too did not succeed.

IN COUPLES OWN WORDS...I am not writing this to just share our success story but to actually tell the world how Dr. Sanjeev Khot has been a messenger of the Almighty for us. It was eight years of our marriage and around five years of our struggle to complete our family. Like all couples, we tried everything possible for the greatest happiness to be achieved in our life. IN COUPLES OWN WORDS...Some things are better conveyed by writing than by speaking. Hence I am writing this bcoz I feel we would never really convey these feelings by saying. Yes Sir, this comes straight from our Heart….
I still remember the First day we visited your clinic at Mulund. Having faced disappointment from our earlier treatments we had very little hopes left with us. Sitting in your waiting area, the Photo collage on the wall brought smile on our face and we wished that one day even our Baby’s photo will be added to this collage. Thus started our Journey with you. This journey will always remain embedded in our Memory for Life time.
Having heard from others we had a perception that this treatment would be very difficult and torturous. But trust me this Journey was very smooth and a very memorable experience for us. And the entire credit for this goes to you, Dr.Sanjeev Khot and your team. During our first cycle of IVF we were not very keen on the Freezing option of the embryos. But after listening to your explanation we decided to avail that option. We never knew, at that time, that this option will prove a boon for us. Our first failed IVF cycle broke us completely. I still remember our conversation on phone (since you were travelling at that time) where even you were disappointed on our negative reports. We lost our last hope and it was very difficult for us to accept the fact that we will remain childless in this life. In such a hopeless situation, you gave us the confidence that we still had the option of the Frozen embryos. But believe me, after a failed IVF we dint have any confidence and hope that she could conceive with the Frozen embryos. But on 24th August 2014the positive pregnancy report proved us and our belief of the Frozen embryos wrong. I will never forget your words over phone conveying the positive reports. We thank you from the bottom of our heart for all the care and patience with which you would answer all our doubts during our visits during these months of pregnancy. Even when the problem of inadequate amniotic fluid arose you helped us calm down our tension and with your advice and expertise we could pull through 36 weeks. Finally we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy on 07/04/2015. I will never forget the smile and the happiness on your face on that day. You were equally happy and this came through from your face.
Finally we once again thank you for this beautiful journey and for the beautiful bundle of joy that we got in this journey. When visiting your clinic we never had the feeling of tension and irritation that we usually have when we visit any doctor. We always got positive vibes during our visits.
